Yoga is Simple but Not Easy

My favorite quote of the day came from a dedicated and relatively fit student when he was was working on utthita haste padangusthasana – a standing posture where you hold your big toe in front of you and stand up straight.  (Today, we even used the wall to help balance.)

“I’d like to see the CrossFit guys try this.  They think they’re so tough…”, he jabbed.

Yoga is simple, but not easy.

A seemingly simple task – lift one leg up and hold on to your foot – works just as much on the mind as it does on the body.

It’s not about the pose.  Come see what it’s about.
