Mohler found the mat eleven years ago where she describes the peace of mind she found in that very first class as “life changing”.
“My mat is my safe space. It is where I go to find my inner peace. I find peace of mind through physical postures and movements and the concept of this still amazes me everyday every time I practice! When we practice yoga we reconnect to not only the physical body but also our true spirit. When one is connected and in touch with oneself that is when the real magic happens…it is then that we are able to reach out and touch someone else. When you touch someone else you cannot help but be touched yourself”.
Mohler’s style of teaching is intentional, mindful movements connected by the breath that bring comfort and peace to not only the body but the mind as well.
