This youth-friendly curriculum will cover topics including leadership, goal setting, money management, entrepreneurship and, of course, real estate.
Headlining the workshop will be Frisco mayor, Maher Maso as well as the Founder and CEO of the Dallas Entrepreneur Center, Trey Bowles. Other speakers include: Jenny Parum, Owner of The Yoga Movement; Kristin Gerst, Owner of Preston Roman Holdings; Dean Lontos, Owner of Bay Mountain Capital and Chris Dannenfeldt, Owner of Property Partners 1.
“Owners and successful entrepreneurs of the REI Expo are committed to giving back to their community,” said Tim Herriage, co-founder of the REI Expo and North Texas real estate veteran. “This is a free and unique training program that was created to teach kids skills that they wouldn’t necessarily learn in school, from entrepreneurship to personal finance.”
Kids ages 12-18 are invited to attend by registering for no charge at www.REIexpo.com. A complimentary lunch is included. The workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 25 at the Gaylord Texan Resort.
REI Expo is the nation’s leading conference and trade show in the country for real estate investors and others interested in building wealth through real estate investing. Founded in 2011 by Herriage and Arnie Abramson, the show is designed to provide a platform for education, networking, and training. The conference will take place January 25 and 26 and is the first of four Expos scheduled for 2014.
During the past few years, the REI Expo has grown from a regional gathering in Texas to a nationwide series of high-content training events. In 2013, more than 2,500 real estate investors, vendors, and educators attended the REI Expos. In 2014, the REI Expo will continue its growth as a quarterly educational conference and trade show.
Registration is at www.REIExpo.com, or by calling 855-REI-EXPO.
Major sponsors of the Expo include The Home Depot, Auction.com, B2R Finance and HomeVestors of America.
